Weymouth Beach
Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
Weymouth Beach is accessible on the Weymouth Walkway in between Keith Park and Weymouth Park. The walkway is perfect for those with limited mobility and provides stunning views of Manukau Harbour and Puhinui Creek. The beach is a short distance off the walkway on a gravel path and is popular for fishing and shellfish gathering. The area has had water quality concerns so visitors are reminded to thoroughly cook fish and shell fish. The beach is often closed to swimmers. Keith Park is named after one of New Zealand's most celebrated military personnel Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Rodney Park, who served in WWI and WWII.
