Uretiti Beach at Tip Road
Waipu, Northland, New Zealand
Uretiti Beach is part of 10 kilometres of pristine white sand along the Bream Bay Coastline. There is a Department of Conservation campground adjacent to the beach for those who wish to stay for more than a day. Basic facilities at the campground help to promote conservation efforts and appreciation of resources. Part of the beach is clothing optional for those who wish to avoid tan lines, however, clothing is mandatory in the campground. The area is perfect for swimming, fishing and surfing and walking. It is part of the Te Ara Roa, a walkway that extends the entire length of New Zealand.
