Tobay Beach is a restricted access recreational beach located in the middle of Jones Beach Island, a barrier island off the South Shore of Long Island. Tobay Beach offers a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere to its visitors. For those coming with children, the park also offers the Spraypark playground.
Residents of the Town of Oyster Bay are the only ones allowed to entry, with a limited number of guests from outside the town on weekends. On weekdays, the beach is open to non-residents with a fee of $30.
For those coming by boat or looking to go fish at some point during the day, the marina of Tobay Beach provides 150 slips in its boat basin on the bay side, on a first come-first served basis. Different conditions and fees apply for nonresidents of the Town of Oyster Bay.
