This access point is a popular put-in/take-out for boaters in the New River State Park. There is a canoe/kayak ramp for easy access. There is a large parking area with several spots to picnic and sit by the river. There are also two 1-mile trails that loop through a lightly wooded area. Plenty of informational signs on-site to help orient you to the trails and unique wildlife in this area.

The Wagoner Road Access Area, at river mile 26, is located eight miles southeast of Jefferson.
