Mustang Island State Park is located on a coastal barrier island in Nueces County. People come to the park and beach to relax and get away from nearby city life. Recreational water activities include fishing, swimming, surfing, and kayaking. You may also choose to just lay on the beach in the sun! If you prefer land activities, you can hike, bike, or birdwatch. There is a $5 entrance fee for day-use of the park.
