Long Lake PP has 2 beaches. One beach is the day use area and another beach further south is the campground beach. Both beaches are sandy with shallow waters and a marked swimming area. The water is usually warm and clear in Long Lake.

The area has all of the usual day use and camping amenities of a provincial park, including a playground and boat launch nearby. This is a very popular beach and provincial park nestled in a mature forest which offers protection from wind and rain.
