Little Basswood is one of a collection of smaller lakes (Cranberry, Birch, Brownlee and Little Basswood) located beside the larger Basswood Lake. Little Basswood Lake is a beautiful inland lake, with a coarse sandy beach and clean, blue waters making it perfect for swimming and water sports. It also offers opportunities for camping, fishing and hunting as well as trails for hiking or horseback riding. Little Basswood Park's amenities includes a boat launch, picnic tables, portable toilet facilities and bear-proof waste disposal bins. It is located just a few minutes away from the Sowerby Hall and the Historic Cordukes/Weber 12-sided barn.
