Jackson Creek is a 1.5 acre public landing on the Queen Anne’s County side of the lower Chester River. The landing has a beach and benches for enjoying nature, swimming, crabbing and fishing. The beach front is great for launching canoes and kayaks. Paddlers should be aware that this site is located on the relatively large, open waters of the lower Chester River so it is best to launch from Jackson Creek on calm days. Along the beachfront are benches and some trees providing shade in the grass. There is a portable toilet available at this site. This site does not have a boat ramp. Queen Anne County Public Landing permits are for all cars and trailers. There is limited parking at this site.
