Garner Lake Provincial Park Beach
Spedden, Alberta, Canada
Garner Lake is named after an area farmer from the early 1900's. This is a sandy beach with shallow waters that are quite clear most of the season. The swimming area is marked and there is a boat launch and dock nearby. Like a lot of lakes in this area, water levels have come down over the last two decades.
This beach area is part of a campground with all of the day use amenities required. The beach is large enough for volleyball courts and sand castles. This is a popular beach and campground over the summer months.
