Croton Point Park has a designated public swimming beach, operated by Westchester County. There is also a high volume of recreational boats, kayaking and fishing.

Hudson Riverkeeper has sampled at this location since 2008 from May through October. Monthly testing is not frequent enough to make a safe swimming determination. Riverkeeper is advocating for high frequency testing and data reporting along the Hudson River wherever the public swims, boats and fishes.
