- Jul 30, 2023 - Data tile graphs now display the latest 30 Days of data by default, with the option to increase or decrease the time range. The "All Time" option displays all data collected in the past, which was previously the only option. When 7 Days or less is selected, all data for the selected time range is displayed when available (e.g hourly), instead of just the daily averages.
- Jul 17, 2023 - Water quality status added for locations where it is available. Initially the primary data source for this is Swim Guide by Swim Drink Fish. However, there are a number of other sources, such as Niagara Region Beach Water Testing.
- Jul 16, 2023 - Water quality and temperature information has been added to 19 Niagara Region beaches, including Bay Beach (aka Crystal Beach), thanks to Niagara Region Beach Water Testing.
- Jul 9, 2023 - Improved search and filter functionality in the top navigation. Keyword search still updates the map as you type, but also displays location results just below the search input as you type, including country, region and city information. A set of check boxes below the search input make it possible to filter the map by features, such as locations with monitored water quality, swimming, snorkeling, disabled friendly, public restrooms, changing rooms, etc.

- Jun 15, 2023 - E. Coli monitoring for 8 beaches in Hamilton, Ontario are now online, thanks to the open data provided for Hamilton Beach Water Quality.
- Jun 5, 2023 - More open water swimmers with Garmin watches have signed up and are contributing water temperature and swim activity data collected during their swims. Thank you!

- Jun 3, 2023 - The City of Toronto has started testing e. coli (Lake Ontario) levels at 10 popular Toronto beaches for the 2023 swim season. This site is updated as soon as results become available on the City of Toronto Beaches data feeds.
- May 31, 2023 - New York State has started testing e. coli (Lake Erie) and enterococcus (Atlantic Ocean) levels at 282 beaches for the 2023 swim season. This site is updated as soon as results become available on the New York State Department of Health Beach Water Quality data feeds.
